Bite Size Learning Sessions

Sometimes training never happens in organisations because people “haven’t got time”. Responding to that need, we’ve developed a series of 2 hour learning sessions which can be run first thing – like a breakfast meeting – or at lunchtime – or indeed any time of day. Here is a range of the sessions we offer:
What is coaching?
Here participants will learn the basics of coaching, understanding the difference of both a directive and a collaborative style of management, whilst getting an opportunity to see first hand the benefits of the two.
Listening Skills
A powerful session which focuses on contextual listening (i.e. more than just the words which is only 7% of communication) and looks at some of the barriers to listening. Through a series of frameworks and exercises, participants come away with a renewed sense of the importance of listening.
Asking powerful questions
A fun and participative session which focuses on the power and importance of asking questions in the workplace. Participants get to experience the benefits themselves!
How to run effective meetings
We all know what it’s like to be in boring, ineffective, and badly run meetings. In this session, you will learn how to get the best out of your meetings so that your colleagues want to come to them rather than avoid them!
PCSI – Personal Communication Style Inventory
A fun and easy self-scoring tool that gives you an indication into your preferred communication style and the implications of this. With increased self-awareness and awareness of your colleagues’ styles, you learn how to communicate more effectively with others in the future.
What is NLP?
A great introduction into Neuro Lingustic Programming (NLP) and the some of the ways it can be used in the workplace. A highly participative session, you will discover things about your own and your colleagues’ thinking and language patterns that could help you connect with others more easily and communicate more effectively.
